First seen Dec 09, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special PET scan can find early scarring in the small bowel of people with Crohn's disease. About 45 adults with Crohn's will get the scan, and researchers will compare those with known strictures to those without. The goal is to see if the scan can detect fibrosis before it becomes severe, which could help doctors treat it sooner.
