First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a special type of PET/CT scan, using a radioactive tracer called 68Ga-DOTATATE, can produce clearer images of soft tissue sarcomas. The goal is to see if this scan can help doctors decide if a patient might benefit from a specific type of radiation therapy. About 30 adults with soft tissue sarcoma will receive one scan, and researchers will check for any side effects.
