First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to predict how well your lungs will work after lung cancer surgery. Doctors will use 3D CT scans to create a virtual model of your lungs and simulate the surgery beforehand. The goal is to see if this method is more accurate than current techniques, helping surgeons plan safer operations. The study involves 60 adults with non-small cell lung cancer who are scheduled for video-assisted lung surgery.
