First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether custom 3D-printed cutlery handles can help elderly patients with neurodegenerative diseases eat more independently. About 75 people in continuing care will try handles sized to their grip. The goal is to see if these lightweight, low-cost tools improve eating autonomy and food intake.
