Summary
This early-stage trial tested a new 24-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine in 119 healthy children aged 2 to 17. The goal was to see if the vaccine is safe and triggers a strong immune response against 24 types of pneumococcal bacteria. Participants received the vaccine and were monitored for side effects for up to 30 days.
