NCT ID NCT06086704
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study is testing a special PET/MRI scan that uses a radioactive tracer to see if breast cancer is responding to hormone therapy before surgery. About 53 postmenopausal women with newly diagnosed breast cancer will get two scans—one before and one after starting treatment. The goal is to see if the scan can accurately predict whether the tumor is shrinking, which could help doctors adjust treatment sooner.
