First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tested a new type of radiation therapy (177Lu-PSMA) in 58 men with prostate cancer that had spread to a few spots in the bones or lymph nodes but was still hormone-sensitive. The treatment targets cancer cells specifically, aiming to delay disease progression compared to standard care. The goal was to see if this approach could keep the cancer from growing for at least 6 months.
