First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tested a new radiation treatment (177Lu-PSMA) in 58 men with prostate cancer that had spread to a few spots but was still hormone-sensitive. The treatment targets cancer cells specifically, aiming to delay disease progression compared to standard care. Results help determine if this approach can control the cancer longer without needing stronger hormone therapy.
