Dance and salt air: a new fitness combo for seniors?
NCT ID NCT07423624
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week program of Zumba dance exercise combined with breathing salt-enriched air (halotherapy) could improve fitness, body composition, and breathing in older women. Twenty sedentary women were randomly assigned to either do the program or continue their usual routine. Researchers measured walking ability, strength, flexibility, and body weight before and after the 12 weeks to see if the combined activities provided benefits.
