First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested whether 12 weeks of Zumba classes followed by time in a salt room (halotherapy) could improve body composition, breathing, and fitness in sedentary women aged 55-80. Twenty women were split into two groups: one did Zumba plus salt therapy, the other continued normal activities. Researchers measured weight, aerobic capacity, strength, flexibility, and balance before and after the program.
