Summary

This study is testing a drug called Imuthiol (Zn-DDC) in the lab to see how well it kills blood cancer cells, including hard-to-treat cancer stem cells. Researchers will also combine it with other drugs like lenalidomide and pomalidomide. The goal is to find effective, affordable treatments for blood cancers like multiple myeloma. About 70 adults with myeloma or acute leukemia will donate samples for testing.
