New eyelid lift tool tested against traditional surgery in head-to-head trial
NCT ID NCT07250139
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to do upper eyelid surgery: the standard method and a newer technique using a hand-held clamp called Ziplyft. Each participant will have one eyelid treated with the standard method and the other with Ziplyft, so doctors can directly compare bruising, healing, surgery time, and patient satisfaction. The goal is to see if Ziplyft offers a faster recovery or better results for people with droopy or sagging upper eyelids.
