Summary

This study looks at how a gene called ZIP8 might affect why some people are more likely to develop alcohol use disorder. Researchers will give alcohol through an IV to healthy volunteers and measure how much they choose to drink. They will also scan participants' brains to see how alcohol affects brain activity. The goal is to understand genetic factors behind alcohol-related behaviors.
