Summary
This study tested whether a special bone graft material containing zinc, combined with a patient's own blood concentrate (platelet-rich fibrin), can help repair bone damage caused by gum disease. Thirty adults with gum disease bone defects received the treatment, and researchers measured gum health and bone levels. The goal was to see if this combination improves healing and bone regrowth compared to standard treatments.
