First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested a new bone graft material, ZetaMet, in 10 women with breast cancer that had spread to the spine, causing bone damage. The graft was placed directly into the damaged vertebra to help repair the bone and prevent fractures or spinal cord problems. The main goals were to see if the procedure was safe and if it could reduce pain and improve spine stability.
