New approach aims to keep High-Risk patients connected to lifesaving care
NCT ID NCT05587530
Summary
This study aimed to create a practical program to help people at risk of suicide stay engaged in outpatient mental health treatment. Researchers interviewed patients and staff to understand what helps or hinders treatment attendance, then designed a pilot program based on that feedback. The goal was to test if the new approach was acceptable and feasible for both patients and the peer specialists helping them.
