Doctors test ways to zap hearts without radiation
NCT ID NCT07028502
Summary
This study compared two different techniques for performing a key step in a heart procedure without using X-ray guidance. Researchers tested these methods in 28 patients with atrial fibrillation who were scheduled for a heart rhythm procedure. The goal was to see which technique was safer and more efficient, and to help doctors learn how to perform this step without radiation.
