New drug aims to wipe out early breast cancer before surgery

Summary

This study tests a drug called zanidatamab in people with early-stage, low-risk HER2-positive breast cancer. The goal is to see if the drug can make the cancer disappear before surgery. About 20 adults with small tumors and no spread to lymph nodes will take part.
