Experimental cell therapy takes on lupus and scleroderma
NCT ID NCT06708845
First seen Jun 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026
Summary
This early-phase trial tests a new treatment called zamto-cel for people with severe lupus or scleroderma that hasn't improved with standard therapies. Zamto-cel uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to target and calm the overactive immune system. The main goal is to check safety and find the right dose, while also watching for any reduction in disease activity over a year.
