Summary
This pilot study tests whether a program called Yuva Sath, led by trained peers, can help young people (ages 18-29) who inject drugs in India stay engaged in addiction treatment and use HIV prevention services. Sixty participants will receive one-on-one sessions and weekly text check-ins over six months. Researchers will measure if the program is practical, well-liked, and improves treatment attendance and reduces risky behaviors.
