New hope for teens at risk: family therapy aims to stop suicide repeats
NCT ID NCT06931639
Summary
This study is testing a new family-based therapy program called SAFETY, designed to prevent teens from attempting suicide again. It will compare SAFETY to standard enhanced care in 282 young people aged 10-17 who have recently attempted suicide. The goal is to see if the SAFETY program is better at reducing repeat suicide attempts and improving mental health over several years.
