Summary

This study compares two proven emergency care methods for teens and young adults (ages 13-24) who come to the ER with suicidal thoughts or actions. The goal is to see which approach better prevents suicide attempts and helps them start mental health treatment. Researchers will follow 1,600 participants for one year.
