New hope for teens: community program aims to stop suicide before it happens
NCT ID NCT06353711
Summary
This study is testing a new 90-day support program called 'Caring Connections' designed to prevent suicide in teenagers and young adults who are at high risk. The program connects youth with community resources, helps create safety plans, and provides follow-up support through local organizations, including faith-based groups. Researchers want to see if this coordinated approach is practical to run and if it can reduce suicidal thoughts and behaviors compared to standard care.
