First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at two ways to help young people ages 12-19 who already drink alcohol to cut back. One group gets a short web program, and the other gets that plus supportive text messages for 8 weeks. Parents can also use a free app to talk with their kids about drinking. The goal is to find simple, low-cost tools that doctors' offices can easily offer to teens.
