Can texts and web tools curb teen drinking?
NCT ID NCT05988931
Summary
This study is testing two technology-based programs designed to prevent or reduce alcohol misuse among teenagers. About 1,400 youth aged 12-19 who have drunk alcohol in the past year will either use a brief web-based program or that same program plus eight weeks of supportive text messages. The goal is to find effective, scalable tools that doctors' offices can widely offer to help young people make healthier choices.
