Yogurt study halted early: small clues on blood sugar
NCT ID NCT06836752
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether eating yogurt daily for 24 weeks could improve blood sugar control in adults with prediabetes (high risk for type 2 diabetes). Only 8 people enrolled before the study was stopped early. Researchers measured insulin resistance, fasting blood sugar, and body weight. Results are limited due to the small size and early termination.
