Summary

This study is testing whether a yoga program led by trainers who share the same racial background as participants can improve quality of life and reduce symptoms for Black and African American cancer survivors. The research focuses on 50 adults in California who have had cancer treatment within the last five years. Participants will attend weekly yoga sessions for four weeks, followed by four weeks of guided home practice, to see if this culturally tailored approach makes yoga more accessible and effective for this community.
