First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tested YM-101 eye drops in 30 adults with dry eye syndrome to see if they are safe and effective. Participants received either the active drops or a placebo, then switched after a period. The study measured changes in eye surface damage, tear stability, and symptoms. Results are not yet available, but the goal is to find a new treatment option for dry, uncomfortable eyes.
