First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests a new drug called Y-4 to see if it can reduce pain from postherpetic neuralgia, a nerve pain that lingers after shingles. About 160 adults in China will take either Y-4 or the standard drug pregabalin for 14 weeks. Researchers will compare pain scores to find out if Y-4 works better and is safe.
