First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study will test a self-balancing exoskeleton called XoMotion-R in 16 people with spinal cord injury (SCI) who have some movement in their legs. The device allows users to walk hands-free, which could help those with limited arm function. Researchers want to see if it is safe and practical for use in rehab, and whether it improves walking ability and reduces long-term disability.
