New scan aims to see inside damaged lungs
NCT ID NCT04991454
Summary
This study is testing whether a special type of MRI scan using Xenon gas can provide a clearer picture of lung damage in people with pulmonary hypertension. Researchers will scan 60 patients to see if the images match actual lung tissue damage and if the scans can help predict how the disease will progress. The goal is to improve monitoring, not to test a new treatment.
