Can writing heal a broken heart? new study tests emotional therapy for spinal injury patients
NCT ID NCT06147258
Summary
This study is testing whether a 10-week online writing program, guided by a coach, can help adults with spinal cord injury cope with grief and emotional distress. Researchers will enroll 60 participants to see if writing about their feelings reduces grief, stress, and depression while improving sleep and social participation. The goal is to provide a new tool to support mental health and quality of life for people living with paralysis.
