Simple splint study tests which design eases stroke stiffness

Summary
This study tested whether a flexible 'dynamic' wrist splint works better than a rigid 'static' splint to reduce muscle tightness in the wrist after a stroke. Twenty people who had a stroke 1-6 months earlier and had wrist stiffness wore one type of splint. Researchers measured their wrist stiffness before and after to see which splint helped more.
