New blood flow technique aims to prevent leg amputations

NCT ID NCT07488637

Summary

This study is testing a new approach called 'woundsome revascularization' to improve blood flow directly to foot wounds in patients with severe limb-threatening ischemia. Researchers want to see if this targeted approach helps prevent leg amputations and promotes wound healing better than current methods. The study will enroll 50 patients with foot ulcers or tissue damage due to poor circulation.
