First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tested a synthetic fiber matrix (Restrata®) to see if it helps close diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers better than standard care or a living skin substitute. The trial enrolled 48 adults with these chronic wounds. The main goal was to see how many wounds fully closed and stayed closed for two weeks.
