New study aims to stop pregnancy pelvic pain from becoming a lifetime problem

Summary
This study tests a program called WOMENinMOTION that teaches pregnant women how to manage pelvic girdle pain and stay physically active. The goal is to prevent the pain from becoming chronic after childbirth. About 592 pregnant women will either receive the program plus usual care or just usual care, and researchers will track their pain, activity, and quality of life for up to two years after birth.
