Can happiness phone calls ease IBS pain? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT06866106

Summary

This study is testing whether a 9-week phone program focused on building positive emotions and resilience can help people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Researchers will enroll 50 adults with IBS to see if the program is practical and acceptable, and to check for early signs that it might reduce symptoms and improve quality of life. The goal is to develop a simple, accessible therapy that targets the connection between the mind and gut.
