Can a daily dose of wild blueberries lower your blood pressure?
NCT ID NCT04530916
Summary
This study is testing whether eating wild blueberries daily can help lower blood pressure and improve artery function in middle-aged and older adults with mildly elevated blood pressure. Researchers are enrolling 58 men and postmenopausal women aged 45-70 to measure changes in blood pressure, artery stiffness, and blood markers. The goal is to see if natural compounds in blueberries can support cardiovascular health as people age.
