Cancer patients in need turn down help: researchers ask why
NCT ID NCT07352579
Summary
This study aims to understand why cancer patients who report needs like transportation, food, or housing problems choose not to accept help when it's offered. Researchers will survey 500 patients and interview some to learn about barriers like mistrust, feeling others need help more, or past resilience. The goal is to improve how healthcare systems connect patients with support services they might need.
