Summary
This study is testing whether whole genome sequencing (a complete scan of a person's DNA) can help doctors identify the cause of atypical diabetes—unusual cases that don't fit typical type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Researchers will compare this advanced genetic test to the current standard method in 1,020 adults. The goal is to see if the full genome scan finds more diabetes-related genetic changes and leads to changes in treatment.
