First seen Jun 26, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a calorie-controlled diet can improve tumor outcomes and metabolic health in overweight or obese women with endometrial cancer who are undergoing fertility-sparing treatment. 240 participants will be randomly assigned to either a structured weight management program or routine care. Researchers will track body measurements, blood markers, and cancer remission rates to see if weight loss makes a difference.

- Active substance
- weight management (diet)
- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could show that a structured diet helps control endometrial cancer while preserving fertility, offering a safer option for overweight patients.
- What could go wrong
- This is a behavioral intervention, not a drug, so results may vary widely. The study is early and focuses on weight-related markers, not long-term cancer survival.
