Satiating bars tested for weight loss boost in obesity study

Summary
This study looks at whether eating protein and/or fiber bars three times a day as part of a low-calorie diet helps overweight or obese adults lose weight and improve joint and heart health. About 144 participants will be split into four groups, each receiving different bar types or a placebo, and followed for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if these bars make it easier to stick to a diet and improve overall health.
