Simpler surgery tested for weight loss surgery that Didn't work
NCT ID NCT05242835
Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for people whose initial sleeve gastrectomy weight loss surgery didn't work well enough. Researchers are testing whether a newer, simpler procedure (SADI-S) works as well as the standard revision surgery (DS) but with fewer complications and nutritional risks. The study will measure weight loss, side effects, and quality of life over 12 months in 151 participants who need revision surgery.
