This study tests whether eating protein and fiber bars three times a day as part of a low-calorie diet helps people with overweight or obesity lose weight and improve heart, joint, and metabolic health. About 144 adults aged 18-65 with a BMI between 27 and 40 will be assigned to one of four groups, each receiving different bar types or a placebo. The study lasts 12 weeks and tracks weight, body composition, blood markers, and joint comfort.
