New stitch procedure aims to help obese asians shed pounds safely

Summary

This study will test if a procedure called endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG) using the OverStitch NXT system is safe and helps obese adults lose weight. About 136 Asian participants with a BMI of 27.5 or higher will be enrolled. The main goal is to see if at least 5% of total body weight is lost 12 months after the procedure.
