Letting people pick their diet plan could be key to weight loss success

NCT ID NCT06521021

Summary

This study tests whether letting people choose their weight management strategy leads to better follow-through than randomly assigning them one. Researchers will enroll 60 adults with overweight or obesity in a 12-month digital weight program. Half will choose between two behavior approaches (avoiding tempting foods or resisting cravings), while the other half will be randomly assigned, to see which method improves adherence and results.
