Can remote coaching help veterans shed pounds and sleep better?
NCT ID NCT05104450
Summary
This study tested whether a remote, video-based lifestyle program could help veterans with obesity and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) lose weight and improve their sleep-related quality of life. Nearly 700 participants were randomly assigned to either receive the 12-month coaching program or continue with their usual care. The program focused on gradual changes to eating habits and physical activity, with the goal of losing 5-10% of body weight.
