Summary
This study tested whether a weekly injection called survodutide helps adults in China with overweight or obesity lose weight. Over 300 participants were randomly assigned to receive one of two doses of the drug or a placebo injection for about 19 months. Researchers measured changes in body weight and other health markers to see if the treatment was effective and safe.
