Summary
This study tested a new weekly injection called CT-388 to see if it helps people with obesity or overweight lose weight and improve related health measures. Nearly 470 adults received either the drug or a placebo (dummy injection) for 48 weeks. The main goal was to measure the percentage of body weight lost and check the treatment's safety.
