Summary

This study is testing whether a new weekly injection called MET097 helps people with obesity or overweight lose weight compared to a placebo shot. About 225 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo for 28 weeks to see which group loses more weight and has fewer side effects. The goal is to see if this weekly treatment can safely help control weight over time.
